Sounds like the proper setup...not sure why you wouldn't get at least as good as you had. Antenna pointing or loose/bad connector is the obvious things that I'm sure you already checked. I'd suggest connecting the antenna cable to the TV and see how it performs with OTA to compare to the USB...

When you say OTA, are you referring to your TV tuner or are you using the USB OTA adapter with the Hopper ? Does your antenna flow through a completely separate coax cable, or was it sharing a cable with satellite before ?

Don't forget to check or replace the connectors on that cable...may be the issue and would avoid the cable replacement in the wall.

I have 2 HWS, both have PTAT set for every day. Both recorded only about the last 40 seconds of the game and the post game show...so only about 15 minutes total...and was labeled Postgame in the PTAT listing...no SB recording.

I noticed this yesterday...lost all below around 180 in my favorites on my Joey...though my wife's favorites on the HWS it links to are still OK. I haven't checked the other HWS or other 2 Joeys yet. Odd indeed.

Not a huge deal to just use another Hopper vs. a Super joey...$2 more, but gives 3 vs. 2 tuners, is not dependent on another Hopper...and IS supported by Dish...others have this config ( you just have to purchase any over the first 2...and the add'l h/w ). I would suspect the Super Joey issue...

But if your home is like mine, the wife, kids, grandkids will ignore...remote is hidden away...they use the Harmony One. :)

...you do need to check the batteries on occasion :)
