Yes it has been fun! I have really enjoyed VOOM and wish they could have survived! I think the original price of the equipment was a turn off to most, then once the price of equipment came down the lack of cable (SD) favorite channels killed them. Ahhhhhhh.... He did not force you to buy the box AND VOOM did offer to credit accounts for us who purchased it. You had the chance to convert to rental mode and receive a credit. I did not take it so I am stuck with a paper weight but I am NOT blaming Dolan or VOOM.

I changed over to COX cable today. Got the HD DVR and MLB package. I have had D* and E* in the past and IMHO they are both pathetic. D* wants $999 for HD DVR so you can use it on their whopping 7 or 8 HD channels? LOLOLOLOLOLOL. And their announcement of 1500 HD channels coming to D*...

I went to COX cable today and picked up my boxes. I got the HD DVR and another regular box for the munchkins TV. I went out and hooked up my old cables this morning and unhooked all the VOOM stuff. I am now on cable and reduced to 10 HD channels. I sure will miss TNTHD, UHD, GUNSLINGERS...

I guess I will go with cable for a while and see what comes next. At least with cable I do not need to sign a contract.
