Looks like Absolute/Turbo subs aren't going to be receiving any new HD, except for anything added to the (blah) Platinum HD tier.

It will be interesting IF/WHEN these channels appear, exactly which subs will get them. Turbo HD? Absolute? None of the above?

I know I can't hold my breath that long. :( I can't bitch or complain; I am an Absolute sub. :cool: I am just glad I am not a E* CSR, they are probably getting hammered with angry calls/chats right now and are being expected to give answers that don't exist.

Cmon.....they are the "leader" in HD. At least that's what they told me. :p

I think they like to call it a commitment, it sounds less dirty than a contract. :D

This is far from the greatest disappointment of all time from E*, but this will definitely make the list. When the CEO has his own "show" and claims a date to roll out a new package of channels in HD, it doesn't do much for PR or his credibility. Can't wait to hear the answer/excuse for...

IF the Viacom HD channels do launch, it will be an interesting day for Absolute subs. The Turbo subs are seeing CMT, Comedy Central, and Spike in SD. As an Absolute sub, I am only getting CMT & Comedy Central in SD. Hmmmmmmmmm :confused: Guess this adds to the potential of "what if's" for...

Was it ever stated that BET/J was a free preview? :confused: Not that I would care if it went away - pretty much worthless channel as far as HD content goes. Being a customer of dish can be confusing enough, so being an Absolute sub is even more complex. :eek:
