Sorry to hijack your thread. I don't think we have an official "Rant about Dishnetwork here" thread. My ViP622 HD-DVR just went out. I called customer service support and they transferred me over to advanced technical support. I ended up receiving a free replacement, and shipping charges...

I just checked mine. My HD channels are not back. Before I start bitching, I'll need to do the power cycle (reboot).

It's funny how DISH automatically puts stuff on your DVR. Stuff like "September Movie Highlights!". I doubt Charlie would allow me to come over to his billion dollar mansion and let me put my favorite TV shows on his DVR. Oh DISH

Checking in. I was just about to blame the fraud service technician. I just phoned DISH and their automated system let me know what's going on. The service technician signed the service contract, in my name, as well as put my initials down. I thought that was a crime, forging a legal contact...

Thanks! I thought there was a native thread. I did see that, but I skipped it because I do not own the ViP722. I own the ViP622. I will read now. :)

I should also state that I lost a lot of the SD channels. I now only have the HD versions.

All, I can not find channel 160- MTVSD. I only have channel 160- MTVHD Did I lose the SD version? Also, My guide is now a lot skinner and detailed. Anyway I can go back to the previous layout? I looked on the first page and couldn't find any results. Isn't there a native thread for these 2...

You're correct. I need a darn full time job. Then I could work for free on the weekends and become a workaholic. (My 'dream' :( ) I've already PMed Scott on this matter. I mean no harm, I just don't have anything to do, to occupy my time.

aha Not a problem. I'm actually smart in some areas. maybe in some area's that you do not care about :p I get compliments at work about it all the time :beer:
