Can I d/l video from DirecTV r16-300 DVR to my computer?

the dvr unit has a usb port and "S-video out" port on the back, and a USB port on the front. can i use any of these ports to download video from the dvr to my computer? how do i do it?

would a digital vidcam work? DVR thru vidcam to computer? vidcam has an input cord w/ 3 RCA jacks. i have already dumped VHS tapes thru vidcam to computer. should work then, thanks!
