Need HELP using DVD recorder with Dish VIP722k HD box

Does anyone know how I hook a dvd recorder up to a dish vip722k HD box? I got to a point I could record but it was not recording the the recorded DVR shows, it was recording live TV off TV 2.

I had no problem when I had the standard DVR box.

Which connections did you use?

That has to do with your setup. Your 722 must be setup to work on two TVs. You need to either change the setup to one TV or use a different output.

There are two sets of composite outputs...TV1 and TV2. If you are playing your recordings from TV1, your recorder needs to be connected to it's composite connections.
