I have a wild blue dish with tria any ideas I can use it for? I tried to sell it on Ebay no takers any help?

I have no personal experience with that paticular dish. However according to other forums it can be used for FTA.
You use a steel plate that mounts to the two arms that "extend" the focal point. On the plate you mount a linear LNB.
It takes some work and the dish is still little small. But I understand it can be done.

It probably has a wonderful and easily adjustable mount.

Much like the later model DirecTV dishes that do Ka band.
If so, I might want to hang a bigger dish on it.
But that dish size isn't something I'd get excited over.

I'll try to post pics of it. Plus today I got a directv slimline for free. I like it when people leave satellite dishes behind after they move out. Do I have to extend the arms futher or mount in the stock location on the wildblue dish?

I tried extending the focal point on this Wildblue dish by building a bracket about 5" longer than the dual support arms and mounting the lnb there, but it seems to get better gain using the 2nd reflector. On 97W, I'm getting low 70's Q using this Tracker II lnb.
I'm sure that a Spitfire would improve the signal. This dish was nearly useless during any rain event when it was used for internet.

I have been wondering this same thing. I am actually using my wildblue dish right now for Internet
, but in a few weeks they will finally have turn dsl on here. I know it is too small for most things ku, but I know I am too going to experiment with it when I don't need it for Inet any more. I just think it will be neat to see what I can get with it and let it continue to be functional in the [dish] farm.

Check at the bottom of the dish for any cracks where the LNB arm connects. I picked one of these up off of Freecycle and the whole arm broke off carrying it across the yard. I guess the weight of the original LNB was too much for it.
I ended up screwing a piece of wood to the bottom of the dish in place of the arm and used my meter to find the new location for the LNB. It was surprisingly far out on the arm but it did perform pretty well on a few satellites like 101w and 72w.
