Trying to get the Hopper to work like my DVR on the 622 and 722 we had, either I doing something wrong or it doesn't work the same.

We have two personal folders in out recording, one for each child, all of the other stuff doesn't go into folders.

So before when we went into the DVR and had things sorted as folders each show had its own folder and then you also had a folder for each child and the shows in the files were in folders also. Now you can either folders of shows or user folders but it doesn't do both, which seems stupid. And if you do user folders it doesn't do show folders inside of the user folders. It all sounds very confusing but I wanted to make sure I am not missing something before I complain to DIsh and try and get them to change it.

Folders implementation is very poor. I found it's more trouble than it's worth to even get to the folder view much less go to the extra effort when setting timers. If you have folders set up, it should automatically show them in the default view IMO.

I should clarify. I think it should show folders and all unfiled recordings like a PC. If you pick the folder view, the recordings that aren't in a folder don't show up at all.

If u have it sort to "My Folders" it comes up this way every time u go into DVR...

Yes it does but then when you go into your folders they are not in folders for each show, they are just all together. 622 had a much better folder system

Another thing, why do I always have to see a PTAT folder when PTAT is turned off.
