I recently switched to dish because the lame tech that showed up with direct said there was a line of sight issue. With directv I had a signal in the 90's. I was looking at my dish signal and it's only about 50-53. According to dish's specs for az, el and skew everything is pretty close except for skew. Dish calls for 120 degree skew and the dish skew is about 20 degrees off. Looking at my neighbor's dish across the street, his dish is pointed opposite mine as far as skew goes. Looks like he has the same lnb as me but shouldn't my signal be a lot higher. thanks for your help.

Since I moved my dish, my levels are much higher than when the tech installed it. I was about 1/2 the thresholds and checking again, sat xponders , threshold and my readings are shown:
Code:
61.5 x10 46 56
61.5 x14 51 59
61.5 x29 58 64
61.5 x31 46 53
72 x15 47 57
72 x17 50 59
72 x19 48 59
72 x21 51 60
77 x13 37 45
77 x16 38 46
77 x20 38 47
77 x21 40 48

Dish signal strengths in the 70's are about the highest you ever get since thy recalibrated the signal meter a couple of years ago.
