Ok I had my new Hopper installed today and have enabled Prime Time Anytime. What I'm wondering is, if say there is a show that comes on at 8:00 on ABC that I like and would normally set up a timer for, how can I remember to go back and watch it before the 8 days are up for keeping the recordings? Like before I would check my PVR recordings screens to check for recordings to watch. I basically set the timers and forgot about the shows till they showed up on the PVR screen. Would I have to each day manually go through my PTA recordings and search for shows that I wanna watch? Or is there a shortcut to find only the shows I like? Also can you archive shows in the PTA recordings before they get deleted in 8 days?

When you press the dvr button, you should see folder for PTAT, you can scroll through the programs or search. If there are more than one episode, the older ones (the one to be deleted first) are at the bottom of the list. After 8 days, they disappear. You can select an episode to record to your dvd recordings, but they may not show up until they are deleted from the PTAT.

They show up as they record.

The only thing that trips me up from time to time is that PTAT supercedes your timers. So if you have 6 shows recording for the day, and 3 of them happen to be PTAT, you will only see 3 shows and the generic PTAT timer that shows for every night.

But yes, as stated above - your shows will be under your DVR menu as they are being recorded (just like any other show, PTAT or not). You can choose to save individual shows from the PTAT queue, and it will move them so you don't have to worry about the 8 days. Otherwise just set a timer like you normally would, and PTAT will take over (so you will not actually be using a tuner other than the PTAT one that is locked up for the 3 hours)
