Controlling 2 H-H motors with one receiver

It can be done with other receivers, but I don't know the OpenBox models. I use an 8x1 DiSEqC 1.1 uncommitted switch to combine /seperate the motors. You have to be sure the switch will pass enough power for the motors. A lot of switches post that power passing spec.
 
Yes it is possible, but will exceed the maximum current rating of the receiver. An external power inserter would be necessary to power one of the motors.
 
I have an 8x1 diseqc switch that has an a motor on the other end operated by an openbox s10. It works perfect for me, no voltage issues at all.

id like to get a vbox and operate the bud with it too but havent broke down to buy one

We've had discussions here on the forum on modifying both those motors for external power.

With both motors on 18-20 volts, they would be zippier.
The receiver power supply would not be overloaded.
Any old switch would work, because it only had to carry power for the LNBF.

I'm curious why you'd want two motors on a single receiver?

Planning on using my 1.2m offset as a mini-bud and the .90m for Ku, both motorized.
