I just upgraded to Windows 7 from Windows XP, and I'm finding out that my DVBWorld 2104D USB box is not compatible with Windows 7. Anyone knows if there is a Win 7 update for the the DVBWorld 2104D USB receiver?

Anyone with a solution?

Perhaps a dual boot system XP and 7. I have no idea about the drive I assume u have searched hi and low on the search engines?

There is a special compatibility mode in Win 7 to use WinXP drivers for hardware. I have used it for built-in sound cards on some older motherboards. It's been awhile and I'm not exactly sure the procedure, but it's there. It might be worth a try.

Those were the settings I tried first. It would always crash each time i launched the Application. :(

Sorry, can't help you with the DVBWorld 2104D.
Have been using a DVBWorld 2104C on Windows 7 for quite a while. (using 'Device Manager', it displays: 'Driver Date 4/23/2010' and 'Driver Version 3.0.0.1')

Another option to try is getting virtualBox (virtualbox.org), then load XP in a virtual machine, select a folder to share between the Win 7 system and the XP..., then watch recorded stuff from Win 7...

Can you upload the Driver to the Download section of satelliteguys?
