Here is my dilema, I have this 18awg quad cable CL2. It was purchased from Monoprice. I have tried
different Connectors. Thomas/Bett rg6 , ppc ex6-12 Xl. The problem I cannot slide the connector
over the Black Sheating. Its like it is too thick for the outer ring of the connector. Anyone know, which
connector has the largest opening, for this cable. I have 1,000 ft.

Quad shield can be tuff to work with especially in the cold. I warm up the ends a bit with a lighter before sliding on the connector. Makes it a bunch easier. But don't heat it too much, just mushes up.

Thanks for responses, yesterday, i took my cordless Dremel tool, with the sander attachment, I keep grinding the outer black sheath, until I was able to
slide the fitting over it. Today, will try with a 6 ft piece. Next time I am going to buy just the Normal RG6 cable.

PCT brand connectors, specifically the PCT TRS 6L fit perfectly on Perfect Vision Quad Shield RG6 cable. The Violet colored Thomas and Betts fitting is very difficult to push on this cable. Wire supplier: prowirecommunications dot com They have solid copper wire cables.
