TuffTV on 87 SES2 in PA

TuffTV is on 83W in KU, not 87W

83W is the KU Band feeds of RTV, PBJ and Tuff
87W is the C Band feeds of the Luken channels
 
I am in North Central W.Va. I have been watching Ku-band satellite programming with my Pansat 9200HD. It usually works well. I have been thinking of getting a 2nd larger C-band dish with a C-band LNBF. I would start by pointing at SES 2 and watching some of the programming on TP 15--it almost reminds of Galaxy 18 at 123W. Remember those days?

My question is how large a dish would I need? I have been researching this question but I've been coming up with contradictory answers.

You need at least a 10ft dish to get those reliably.
 
Anyone in PA have TuffTV over ku-band? I was just wondering how hard it would be to lock on using a 76cm dish and microHD receiver. I have a universal LNB .02db i believe.

I'm sorta near scranton.

I receive it here in CT. on 83 W with no problems on a 76 cm dish.

If you can only find a 7 footer then that should work for you, getting a 8,10, or 12 footer would give you better coverage across the entire band in the long run, but they can be harder to locate in certain areas and may cost you more.. I can get it just fine with my dish.
 
No problem with KU 83w here. I'm using a 31" dish and motor. As a side I'm using a fixed 25" to receive Hispasat 30w with very good results except when it rains.

Thank you for your response. 7 feet is a little too big for my situation. I thought I could get away with a smaller dish because when I look at the footprint for SES 2 (87W) at lyngsat-maps

northern W.Va appears at to receive a 42-43 dBW signal which, I understand, corresponds to a 80-cm dish, yes? I am confused.

BTW, I apologize for sorta waylaying the thread but I am interested in Tuff TV and I live close to Pa.
