Anyone else getting a weak signal from AMC21 (125W) tonight? Normally all the PBS Feeds are extremely strong 75%+. Today and Tonight however
everything is weak (less than 25%) and breaking up. I have a motorized dish so I tuned off to some other SATS (no problems there). Is this atmospheric
or might there be a problem with the SAT?

Montana is OK but the PBS are really down from normal. Only getting Q's fluctuating 30 to 50. They are normally 70+ on the S9 and fixed 1.2m. Not breaking up tho-.

TP 12180 is bouncing up and down here too on my 1.2m from 40 to 60 but wont stay steady.

1m dish I was not getting the PBS feeds at all last night. Montana was coming in broken, scanned in a dozen or so scrambled channels but nothing else. It was first time I'd scanned 125 in a while so I thought maybe they'd switched them all to IP delivery or something.

I'm glad it's not just me then, I spent time last Saturday peaking my dish for 125W. I didn't remember reading anything about this and didn't ask around. I managed to get better than what I had but still noticed it's still lower than what it was with occasional freezing on Montana PBS using a 90cm dish.

What's the best TP to peak on AMC21? I remember something about this a few years ago and couldn't find it in my searching.

I talked with Mike Kohl on Sat Talk and he suggested a larger dish.

Extremelly low down here bouncing from 30 - 44% still watchable . For sure quality drop:(

I remember hearing the uplink site is in northern Virginia--we've been having some pretty bad thunderstorms and thick cloud cover. Could be an uplink issue due to weather.

I currently have an error-filled signal on 11980 and everything else on 125W isn't decoding.

Had the same issue last night. The PLL lnb seemed to keep things stabilized despite the bouncing low quality on the meter. As of this moment, most of the PBS feeds are fine, back at 71Q or higher. The only weak ones right now are five occasional feed transponders that usually come in a bit weak for me anyway since the transition to DVB-S2: 12146/12156 H 6250 and 12163/12171/12174 H 4443

yep looks back to normal here.

The other day I bumped my dish out of alignment. Too hot to try to get it back to tracking the arc, but I at least got my aim at 125W back, and the strengths of OETA and Montana are now higher than they were. 12180 does seem to be about 10 points lower than it was, putting it basically right in line with Montana and 11980, and slightly higher than Oklahoma. But I don't know if that means my aim still isn't exactly as it was or if it's actually weaker.

12036, of course, maxes out. That's what I used to tweak my aim.

12036? What are the parameters?

I have 12036H 3725, but my USB tuner isn't picky so I don't know if the symbol rate is correct.

It's DVB-S though, not S2.
