Background Send Report Feature

Press & Hold List button for 5 seconds
Double-bonk sound will be heard to indicate start of process
In some cases, the double-bonk is suppressed if the STB is plugged into a Dolby Digital supported device and the Dolby Digital audio track is selected
Check Menu > Settings & Help > Settings > Info & Test > More System Info for status
Code will be seen next to ‘Completion Code’ list item, check back as it may take a few minutes to complete
Number at end of report key indicates status
0 – Success
9 – No Internet Connectivity
10 – Transmission started
11 – Transmission in progress
12 – Transmission timed out
There is still a one-report per hour limitation
Please try and press & hold the LIST key as close to the actual problem being reported as possible
Please continue to provide the report key when reporting problems

Please allow up to 24 hrs to restore your full 14 day guide
Your STB may restart during idle time within the first 24-48 hours of CE download

Went from NR to this CE.

My DIRECTV remained empty 24 HRS after CE install. And Pandora & YouTube Icons and everything associated with those icons are also missing.

CLEARMYBOX did nadda.

Menu/Reset did nadda.

2x RBR did nadda.

Luckily I never used My DIRECTV, Pandora, YouTube, etc., so I wont miss 'em. But with an incomplete install, I wont be able to tell if any GUI speed improvement is fixed or the result of the missing stuff.

Give it a few days to repopulate the guide etc before any form of reset again.

The GUI response is still slow on MRV. But have notice an improvement with local. The other STBs are still on NR, so the Genie MRV GUI slowness maybe being cause by their SW. Next week, I will go CE on two of my DVRs.

BTW, My DIRECTV is still empty three days after this CE was installed.
 
The My Directv stuff is fickle, including the Pandora, You Tube and whatnot.

Normally mine reloads fine right away, once in a while it doesn't, I haven't had any issues with it loading right away for about 2-3 months now, while others have issues weekly.
 
Got it just once before in the last 6 mos. Did the same three things - CLEARMYBOX, Menu Reset, and only 2x RBR got My DIRECTV instantly back.

But this time 2x RBR also failed to restored the MIA pieces.

I really don't know what causes them to some times load and other times not, doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason.

Mine load 99% of the time without doing anything.
 
Another day, and no change to My DIRECTV and other missing stuff. And have notice that GUI is still slow to load.

I'll give it to Thursday for the MIAs. If they don't appear, it is back to NR for me.

The MIAs ain't my reason for retreat to NR. It's the lack of real progress in the GUI response time. When you press LIST, the LIST screen should appear with a list immediately and not an empty List GUI screen that can take up to a minute to load.

You are right.

Btw, If you go back to the NR, let us know if the My D* stuff comes back and how long it takes to get them.
 
Yep, the next day on turn-on, all the MIAs were back.

I'm out until a next cycle has either an enticing new feature or another promise that GUI speed been fixed.
