I currently have one of the original Vuqubes VQ1000 (Antenna P/N VQV10P) that I use in my motorhome, and I only have the ability to program 2 satellite location presets in the remote. I have noticed that the newer VuQubes VQ1000 (antenna P/N VQ1) have the ability to set 4 memory location presets. I have in the past connected to the HD satellites 61.5 and 77 but would like to be able to get the same as I do at home which is 61.5 and 77 and 72.7. I have also been told that 110, 119 and 129 would be the best to aim for, then I am back to needing more than 2 memory presets.

I have searched the internet looking for maybe a trade in system where I could trade my older version with the newer with no luck. I have also emailed King Controls and they offer a refurbished unit but wont do the trade in thing. They said that the logic board is what retains the memory presets along with the remote which you have to use to program the presets in the logic board.

So I guess my questions are is there a downloadable firmware to update the logic board and then I can just purchase the remote? OR is there some where I can purchase a new logic board and a remote? I do have the knowledge and the mindset to replace these myself.

By the way the VuQube works great and I have no complaints using it with the DishNetwork once I get locked into a signal.

Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks in Advance!
Tom
