I let my sub expire, old CC. Still playing. I'll guess I'll get the free period, closely followed by multiple cheap offers. Maybe I'll pay again. But not 10 bucks a month.

I remember when I called to cancel my sub, the CSR, offered lower and lower monthly fees.
Maybe I could have taken one of the offers he was begging me to take, but I really had to cancel, as I was moving to Europe and it just didn´t make any sense to pay and just being able to listen on the internet, when on the net I can find the same stuff I like, but streaming for free.

Thank you for the reminder... Of course I forgot. Let me see if my radio is activated this time around. It wasn't last time for no apparent reason.

About the same chs, in the link you can find a listing, but I also found channels that are not listed there.

Nope. :( Just the preview channel and a silent one.

So, why don't I get a free listen like the rest of us? This is a Chrysler 300 with Sirius/XM radio, though I think it only uses Sirius technology. My daughter has a Hyundai with Sirius/XM radio that I believe uses XM technology. She's got the free listen. Bah humbug.

I understand this free listen is for all radios, both XM and Sirius.

Yeah, that was my understanding too. So why does most everybody BUT ME get this?

Beats me, the link I posted even shows the list of channels (numbers, etc) for both Sirius radios and XM radios, so I think they mean that ALL inactive radios, even if they are original XM or Sirius should be now getting the free listen, precisely because the people at XMSirius, would like us to fall in love again with their offerings and sub again.

Thing that I´m not planning to do, but nonetheless, I´m taking the opportunity to listen now :D

The car dealer gave them my name, address, and phone number. Since then I have been bombarded with letters from SiriusXM begging me to subscribe. They even bugged me with phone calls until I told them to stop.

I would subscribe if I hadn't read so many horror stories of people unable to cancel and getting threatened by collection agencies. Or if they brought back 'Lifetime' subscriptions for a reasonable price and promised to never bug me again.

I have a 2008 Ford Expedition that came with Sirius radio. I bought it from the original owner when it was 2 years old. He had Sirius, which ran out a few months after I bought it in 2010. I did not re-subscribe and I have never gotten the free previews on it, just the "Call Sirius" message. On the other hand I drive a company vehicle that has never subscribed to Sirius and I get all of the previews in that. Go figure.
