Yea, and the unplug for a minute and unplug all the cords doesnt work. After my 3 firmware re-install within 48 hours, I gave up on the unit. I was told in a private message on here from another user, that pwsurge makes lots of promises over the years, but the product never seems to get any better. So, based on that, I don't know if anything should be expected.

I am waiting also. My miniMe is working fine today. I had a bad connection along my satellite line coming into the unit, which caused some odd behavior, but that is now resolved. After a power loss, it would take 3-4 tries to get it to turn on and stay on. I find it very useable the way it is, although there are some minor issues that would be nice to have fixed.

Good news! Performance was greatly enhanced in the latest development code just tested today with all channel changes now reliably taking place in less than 5 seconds. Virtually all the issues brought forward in this thread have now been resolved in this upcoming new firmware.

We now just need to polish up a few minor things before releasing the new firmware version which should happen within the next day.

It can be quite challenging to accurately predict ETA's in software development, especially on embedded devices where fixing one thing can often break something else. Regression testing must be made after any code is committed in order to find out if any new and often unrelated issues were added which can add unexpected delays to a firmware release.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of our users as we strive to improve the performance and functionality of our products.

Well, i hope it does resolve the issues. I gotta say though, i was excited when I read in my email you said "all channel changes now reliably taking place in less than "TWO" seconds. Then i get to the thread on the website and you changed it to "Five" seconds. Had to take a double take and re-verify that through my email. I see you modified the post. I guess the reliability of 2 seconds wasn't so reliable. :facepalm

Changes between most channels (i.e. 90%+) take place within 2 seconds. However, there is the odd channel which takes a little bit longer to tune in so I revised my post to state a more conservative "less than 5 seconds".
