Okay, so the second half of the season will have the trio of Ursula, Maleficent, and Cruella.

Wasn't Maleficent killed off by Emma in the season 1 finale when she was a dragon?
And Cruella? Seriously? How does she fit in with the fairy tale motief?

Same here. I wish they mixed in other plotlines and focused on other characters, as they seemed to do more in the earlier seasons. Regina and Robin Hood are the only side story ATM, but that's tied to the frozen curse on Marian. I thought there would be more going on with Will Scarlet by now. Well, at least we aren't stuck with the same 8 characters on a small island for an entire half season.

That was only a 1/2 a season ?

He did have the dagger with him, so he could cast his spell and release himself from the dagger. He set it down, and Belle grabbed it when she came up the clock tower. My guess is the glove led her to the tower.

I don't get the Cruella thing either. How is she a queen of darkness? What is she the queen of? Dog catching? Her storyline isn't even part of a fantasy enchanted forest setting. Did Disney finally run out of female fairy tale villains to use in this show?

Also what was the curse to keep anyone from entering Storybrook? When did that happen? I thought the Snow Queen's curse was to keep everyone in, not out. I remember at one point they wanted to keep outsiders out because of the possibility of unwanted media attention. If that's the curse that's still in play, wouldn't Regina have been the one to set it, and certainly the one to disable it so she could see RH again?
 
How are we getting Maleficent again? Wasn't she the dragon in season 1?

I was intending on giving up on this after the mid-season break, unless someone can talk me out of it. I haven't deleted the timer or recordings. Is Cruella as a Storybrook villain actually making any sense yet?
