Grant Gustin Says The Flash Finale Is “Waterfall Cry Emoji”—Watch Now! http://www.eonline.com/news/656788/...flash-finale-is-waterfall-cry-emoji-watch-now
Ohhhhh….We don't think we're ready for this. The Flash's first season finale airs this Tuesday and according to star Grant Gustin, you must prepare for some tears. But not just any tears, you guys. You must prepare for…wait for it…"WATERFALL CRY EMOJI." Are…we…strong…enough? "It's really emotional. It's a heartbreaking finale. We've incorporated time-travel in the first season and the finale has a lot of that," Gustin told me at the CW Upfronts this morning in NYC. "It's just a really heartbreaking conclusion to the first season. And it does wrap things up in a nice way to hopefully be able to move on different tone for season two."So what else is in store? And what did Grant and ladylove Candice Patton (Iris West) have to say about their future, now that she's been shown they end up together? <iframe src="http://www.eonline.com/videos/embed/235421" width="610" height="344" frameBorder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

Mega Buzz: The Flash to Introduce Multiple Universes https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/mega-buzz-flash-introduce-multiple-universes-235537448.html
On The Flash's Tuesday finale, Barry (Grant Gustin) travels back in time to try and save his mother's life, and thus also save his father from a life in prison. That seems like a fairly noble mission, until you take into account all the repercussions traveling that far back in time could have on the world.Gustin admits Barry's trip to the past "doesn't necessarily go as planned," and that everything we knew about his future -- including his future marriage to Iris (Candice Patton) -- is now up in the air. But that might not be the biggest news. "What's fun about this show is that there's going to be multiple timelines as we move forward," Gustin says. "I think we're going to start showing Earth-One and Earth-Two in the near future. There will be kind of different dimensions going on."In DC Comics, Earth-One and Earth-Two are only a few of the parallel universes that make up the elaborate multiverse. Having an Earth-One and Earth-Two within The Flash would open up radical new possibilities for the show, including alternate versions of characters we already know or even new versions of the same superheroes, such as Jay Garrick's The Flash or perhaps the superhero or villain sides of Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker). However, having parallel universes could make the future cross-overs with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow that much trickier. "It gets a little Rubik's Cube-y in terms of keeping consistency between all these timelines and whatnot," Valdes says. "But the writers have their stuff together. If I were to trust anyone, it would be them."The Flash's first season finale airs Tuesday at 8/7c on The CW.

‘The Flash’ EP Andrew Kreisberg On Finale Shocker & Its Impact On Season 2 https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/flash-ep-andrew-kreisberg-finale-010012111.html
SPOILER ALERT: This story contains details of tonight’s Season 1 finale of The Flash.Team Flash lost a key member in tonight’s Season 1 finale of the hit CW drama when in the final minutes, Rick Consett’s Det. Eddie Thawne took his own life to stop Reverse Flash and save his friends.Introduced as partner to Det. Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) and boyfriend of Joe’s daughter, Iris West (Candice Patton), Eddie developed a friendship with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), despite the two being in love with the same woman. Eddie’s fate started to take a dangerous turn a few episodes ago when he was kidnapped by Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), recently revealed as Eobard Thawne, a distant relative of Eddie’s and mortal enemy of The Flash. In tonight’s finale, after getting his plan to get back to the future and harness The Flash’s speed thwarted, Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash) moved on to destroy Team Flash. As his relative, Eddie sacrificed himself, knowing that if he takes his own life, Eobard (Reverse Flash) will never exist.

Here’s a brief teaser for The Flash Season 2 and let’s chat about that finale http://www.comicsbeat.com/heres-a-b...ash-season-2-and-lets-chat-about-that-finale/
I haven’t had a chance to watch the finale of The Flash yet (business travel is the worst sometimes), but I hear it was pretty fun! The CW has already released a very, VERY brief teaser for the next season with showrunners Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti about what fans can look forward to this fall when the series returns:The Flash Season 2 Teaser (HD) .....The Flash showrunner Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti tease what to expect for the upcoming second season, returning to The CW this Fall.
There’s really not much to see here as of yet, but let’s take the opportunity to chat about last night’s finale, what’d you think? Did The Flash‘s inaugural season live up to your expectations? We’ll consider any that comments below are free to be rife with spoilers, so anyone who’s in my boat and hasn’t watched it yet, steer clear!

The Flash Will Introduce More Speedsters In Season 2 http://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/flash-more-speedsters-season-2/
Barry Allen may tout himself as the Fastest Man Alive in each opening monologue of The Flash, but others may soon challenge that claim. As you may or may now know, there are a handful of other spandex-clad speedsters in the DC Comics pantheon and some of them are about to pay Central City a visit. We already know that one speedy cast member will return for season 2, and now we know that he won’t be alone. According to executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, more speedsters are on the way:

The most important character in the DC Universe isn’t Batman or Superman — it’s The Flash http://finance.yahoo.com/news/most-important-character-dc-universe-193800680.html
This week on The CW, “The Flash” wrapped up a stellar first season, ending a string of bright, colorful, and unabashedly fun episodes with an emotional finale and a hell of a cliffhanger. Like it’s titular hero, “The Flash” bolted out of the gate at top speed, with remarkably few stumbles in its freshman year. It also gave viewers a taste of something longtime DC Comics readers have known for years: that while he isn’t a part of the famed trinity of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, The Flash is secretly the most important character in the entire DC Universe. It isn’t even really a matter of opinion—sure, personal taste will dictate how much you enjoy any given Flash story, but the character’s importance is about as objective as you can get in comic books. It was The Flash that comics creators used to introduce or popularize a number of ideas that are now integral to the DC Universe, and comics as a whole. It's quite possible to chart the history of DC Comics, and to a lesser extent, mainstream superhero comics, using the Flash as a measuring stick. The Flash made his debut in January of 1940, the third of DC’s most recognizable characters to be created in the Golden Age of comics, coming after Batman but just before Green Lantern. He was also an entirely different character than the one you might know from the current main “Flash” comic being published by DC, on the CW TV series, or the upcoming movie set to star Ezra Miller. Those are all about another Flash—Barry Allen. We’ll get to him in a moment. The first Flash, however, was a guy named Jay Garrick.

I always liked the Flash but Batman and Supes are WAAAAAY more important.

The Flash: 11 Coolest Easter Eggs from Season 1 - IGN..... http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/06/02/the-flash-11-coolest-easter-eggs-from-season-1?watch
The first season of The Flash has come to an end and it was packed with tons of Easter eggs, references and trivia from the comic books. After cataloging them all in our Flash wiki, we selected the best of the best that you should know about. At the end of the first episode we got a look at Dr. Wells’ futuristic newspaper, which showed a story in the bottom left corner about a merger between Wayne Tech and Queen Inc. Wayne Tech?! That’s Bruce Wayne’s company, who we all know as Batman. This means that while we might not see Batman anytime soon, if ever, he does exist in this show’s world. Also on the newspaper, there’s a reference to how the Flash went missing in a “crisis” as well as a separate story about red skies. This is a reference to the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic from 1985, which spanned DC’s multiverse and resulted in the death of Barry Allen. There’s a scene where Dr. Wells lists off people who apparently died in the particle accelerator explosion, all of whom are costumed characters from the comics: Ralph Dibny (Elongated Man), Bea DeCosta (Fire), Al Rothstein (Atom Smasher), Grant Emerson (Damage), and Will Everett (Amazing Man).

The Flash Season 2: Barry to Get a New Love Interest — His Own 'Felicity https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/flash-season-2-barry-love-194804876.html
Assuming for a moment that The Flash snuffs and survives that singularity/black hole thingamabob that was threatening Central City (if not the world) at the close of Season 1, his reward will be a “familiar” yet brand-new love interest.TVLine has learned that for Season 2, the CW hit is casting the major recurring role of Wendy, a “spunky, fun and funny” romantic interest for one Barry Allen.A cop for the Central City PD, Wendy is described as bright and scientific-minded — more specifically, “Think ‘Felicity Smoak’ from Arrow,” the casting call reads. As The Flash‘s freshman run drew to a close, Barry’s secret had once again but truly been revealed to his longtime crush Iris, right before she and a “To heck with the future!” Eddie reconciled. Detective Thawne then died (“left us”?), meaning an Iris/Barry pairing, though fated, is probably “too soon” just yet.Season 2 of The Flash will again airing Tuesdays at 8/7c; Wendy will be introduced in Episode 2.

‘The Flash': 12 Things We Want to See in Season 2 http://screenrant.com/flash-season-2-preview-easter-eggs/
With The Flash TV series having already broached topics like time travel and alternate timelines, we (like many fans) want to see a (literally) new world of story possibilities open up in season 2.The Flash showrunners have already confirmed that the DC multiverse will be a focus of season 2, so there’s some underlying guarantee that this particular fan wish will be granted; but how the show uses the multiverse will be just as important as the fact that it uses it at all. Season 1 made an intriguing two-part episode out of Barry altering a very pivotal day in his timeline, showing us how the series can use different versions of reality to its storytelling benefit.

When The Flash Season 2 Will Introduce Its New Villain http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Flash-Season-2-Introduce-Its-Villain-72714.html
You may have noticed, we really liked Season 1 of The CW's The Flash and its cliffhanger “where the hell is this show headed?” season finale. We’re still on the look out for anything that will give us a hint about what’s going to be going on in Season 2. Well, star Grant Gustin just dropped a teaser on us which gives us just enough information to drive us crazy. There’s a new major villain on his way to Central City and he’ll be getting there really soon. No, like really soon.Speaking at the Saturn Awards, where he won the award for Breakthrough Performance (way to go dude), he made a comment which was picked up by Collider regarding a new bad guy that will be hitting the show next season:

'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: How Will Iris And Joe Cope With The Loss Of Eddie In The New Episodes? http://www.ibtimes.com/flash-season...iris-joe-cope-loss-eddie-new-episodes-1993997
Sure, Eobard Thawne (Tom Cavanaugh) was defeated, but the Season 1 finale of "The Flash" on the CW was far from a happy ending for Joe West (Jesse Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton). Joe lost his partner and Iris lost her fiancé when Eddie (Rick Cosnett) sacrificed himself to destroy the Reverse Flash. How will the father and daughter pair recover from the devastating loss in Season 2?Iris will cope with Eddie's death by diving into work. Actress Candice Patton told TV Line that her character plans on continuing to help Barry (Grant Gustin) hunt down criminals and metahumans after finally being brought into the fold in the Season 1 homestretch. “She’s found her way into S.T.A.R. Labs and she’s trying to get her career off the ground at Picture News,” said Patton. “So I, personally, am really hoping to see Iris have more agency and more abilities to help the team and The Flash and the city that she loves so much. I want to see her stand on her own two feet and really contribute to the group.”

The Flash: Jay Garrick Confirmed For Season 2 http://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/flash-jay-garrick-confirmed-season-2/
We already know that more speedsters will be showing up in Central City when The Flash returns for its second season, and now the identity of one such hero has been revealed. According to DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns, Jay Garrick will be speeding his way onto television when The Flash returns this fall.In the comics, Garrick is the original Silver Age Flash, having made his debut in Flash Comics #1 in 1940. After the recent New 52 relaunch, Garrick was made the Flash of Earth 2, one of DC’s several alternate universes. It’s also been revealed that the DC Multiverse will play a part in The Flash‘s sophomore season, and judging by the way Garrick’s iconic winged helmet appeared out of one of the time travel wormholes created by Reverse Flash, that seems the most logical way to introduce the character next year.

Check Out Grant Gustin's Screen Test For 'The Flash' https://www.yahoo.com/tv/the-flash-grant-gustin-screen-test-video-check-out-124789242675.html
Now it’s hard to imagine anyone other than Grant Gustin playing Barry Allen on The Flash, but he had to prove himself worthy of the role.In this clip from the Digital HD release of Season 1, executive producer Greg Berlanti admits Gustin didn’t look like the comic-book version of Barry nor was he exactly the right age. But he “had the heart and Grant had acting chops to carry this role,” Berlanti says. That’s clear from his screen test footage, which shows an anguished Gustin reading lines from a scene in the pilot. “This morning, I broke the sound barrier!” he exclaims. That intensity, mixed with Gustin’s ability to exchange comedic banter (and karaoke the hell out of some songs), is what made him the perfect Flash. And viewers responded — the show averaged a healthy 3.84 million viewers over its first season. The Flash Season 2 premieres Oct. 6 on The CW; The Flash: The Complete First Season is available now on Digital HD and coming to Blu-ray and DVD Sept. 22.https://tv.yahoo.com/video/flash-see-grant-gustins-screen-125500483.html

Hawkman to Join ‘The Flash’ & ‘Arrow’ Before ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ http://screenrant.com/hawkman-tv-flash-arrow-legends-tomorrow-hawkgirl/
Prepare yourselves, fans of DC Comics television: the upcoming seasons of The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow won’t be bringing Kendra Saunder a.k.a. Hawkgirl to the small screen alone. With the superheroine revealed in both the initial announcement trailer for Legends, and a brief appearance in The Flash‘s season finale, exactly how a mystical, superpowered, flying warrior would be worked into the TV universe’s shared fiction has been a mystery. Now, fans may have their first hint, as a new report claims that Carter Hall a.k.a. Hawkman will be introduced to both CW shows in their coming seasons to give context to provide some context, before (presumably) helping Kendra (Ciara Renée) take on the mantle of Hawkgirl in Legends of Tomorrow.
