Video Game Deals

The only one I'm interested in is Geometry Wars 3 but I wish it was cross-buy. I don't know anything about most of the other games.

Styx looks like a poor man's Assassin's Creed, but for free, I'm in ... if I ever get around to it. I heard the story isn't exactly compelling.
Mousecraft looks cool. I remember when it first came out saying to myself, "I bet this will be free for PS+ someday, and I'll play it then."
rain looks intriguing - a simple puzzle-adventure-platformer with a "gimmick" and emotional story similar to Papo & Yo, Contrast, and Brothers. I'm always up for that.

The others really aren't my cup of tea. Entwined looks beautiful, but I think the precision gameplay required to get all the trophies will have me tearing my hair out.

Is that sale live yet? I don't see any advertisement for it on Xbox.com I've also searched a few of the games that are listed as 50-60% off like Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition and they are showing as full price.

Edit: The games show up as full price when you search them but if you actually click on those search results the sale prices show up. Still, I don't see this sale advertised anywhere on Xbox.com and you don't actually see these prices until you get to the game detail page. It's like they don't want people to know this sale is happening.

The Green Man Gaming sale is still going on. Today's theme is questing. The biggest highlight is probably The Elder Scrolls Online for $14.99 with a free mystery game packed in. The reviews have actually switched to "mostly positive" on Steam since the update to Tamriel Unlimited and the monthly subscription was dropped.

I certainly don't need a massive game to take all my time right now but Destiny is the closest I have really got to playing an MMO. I'm curious enough to try it at that price.

Edit: With the 20% off voucher GMGSUM-MERSAL-E20OFF I actually got it for $12.

The free mystery game was MagNets so nothing to write home about. I'm not sure if different people get different games.

Far Cry 4 is $20 on Amazon for all consoles & PC

I was almost tempted to pick this up, until I remembered I swore to not get into 4 before I finished 3, and I have yet to even install 3.

Also as a reminder, you can get Shadow of Mordor & the Season pass for $20 at Bundle Stars, in case you want a game like Batman: Arkham, but made by a company that actually knows how to develop for PC.
