Major manufactures start dropping 3D

You need a harmony.

I cut all mine on with one click, throw the 3D disc in and then put my passive glasses on.

Most of his list of steps have absolutely nothing to do with watching 3D or using a remote control.

While my older 3D active glasses using IR were heavy and lost connection frequently, the new ones I have weigh the same as the Passive and using RF never lose sync with the TV

As my wife wears prescription glasses to we have simple clip on active that are light weight and no different that clip on sunglasses for comfort.

Picture maintains higher resolution and proper viewing angle is never a problem for active. Only remaining disadvantage of modern active shutter glasses seems to be the need to recharge them after about 25 hours of viewing. Also, the cost has come way down, but still not as cheap as the polarized glasses.
