We are in "Westworld" now... After finishing the Ghost Rider arc and now dealing with the self-aware Maybot. And on a similar note, I binged the 7th season of "Archer" and what do you know? More Androids!
Is this the end for "Agents of SHEILD"?
I half expected half the cast to go, "Oh, snap!" and fall victim to Thanos' universal purge since they referenced the "Avengers: Infinity War" a few times in the last couple of episodes.
By the summer of 2019 the second Infinity Wars movie will have run at the theater and the series can deal with the after effects of the First movie as well as the seond one . Can you say Thanos Snap? I'm betting that Coulson will be one of the people that disappears from Thanos erasing 50 % of the world's population and this will be showed in the First episode. Then I bet they will show Coulson back, once they do time travel in the movie that will undo the Thanos getting all 5 of the gems and restoring the 50%.Then some how this will ''cure" Coulson of what ever was killing him. Unless the actor who plays Coulson doesn't want to come back , then that's it for him. Next year's season will be the last one and I believe I read it only last for 10 episodes to wrap up all the story lines.
I should think so. They milked the prior plot to death. I hope they make it short and sweet ,and call it THE END!
Coulson will be in the Captain Marvel movie next year 2 months before the (Avengers 4) movie. I think they are filming now.
Several times in the movies and the TV show he has said, "This isn't my first rodeo." I am hoping we finally get to see his first rodeo.

Our paper's TV column had a blurb that said Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will be returning for its final season (which I found amusing since I thought last season was its final season, but what do I know?) It should be starting May 27 (check your local listings). Judging by the poster, it's back to the past!

I too thought it was over so that makes two of us that don't know anything.
It was given a 2yr renewal after season 5 with the announcement that the 2nd would be the last
But it was filmed last year so we'll actually get a new season of a current show this summer, not put on hiatus due to the pandemic. It's a 13-episode season rather than the full 20+ episode season.
I did read she will make an appearance.
Still disappointed that show didn't go farther.
I enjoyed the first two episodes of this final season. I expect we’ll be hopping around the pre-S.H.I.E.L.D. timeline while Enoch does his long way back.
