Well at my home I have not the greatest signal and just ran a test and got 22Mbps.

Sent from my iPhone using SatelliteGuys

Cricket Wireless has UNLIMITED data for $55.00 per month all inclusive no fees/taxes,ect..., so I am not sure what you mean.

I see I thought they had a cap, they do have a cap on speeds, which is a max speed of 8mbps.

Back to topic, September will be the month my contract expires, usually that's a good month since they have all kind of offers such as NFL Sunday ticket.

So today I called directv to schedule my move to the new place, it will require a 12 months agreement, not too thrilled about that, but hey I'm getting good discounts so I'm okay with it, no new equipment upgrades since I already have an Hr44-200 and a wireless Genie...
Out of nowhere he rep said I'm already getting several discounts, however she said she would get me 2017 Sunday Ticket Max for free...I was like okay sign me up.

This would be a good time to get rid of that clunky client and opt for a hr24.

IcEWoLF, feel free to pass that referral code along to anyone else you know who might be considering Dish.

Had to laugh at the reverse offer they gave me. Since I cancelled the auto pay feature they are going to charge me $10 more per month for the "free" HD that I have had all these years. HaHa. The laugh will be on them when I cancel after the last episode of "Outsiders" next week in favor of the PS Vue that I already have.:nana

Yeah, it really doesn't make any sense that Directv does that. The 4K is "free" but you can't get 4K without getting HD which costs $10 per month. If Directv is willing to give away 4K, then why are they still charging for HD? You would think that it would be the other way around.

Not really, when you consider there's ONLY a couple of 4K channels available now, vs HUNDREDS of HD ones...& they're really trying to push 4K for few subs that even care about it... ;) :D

By that logic, Directv should be charging extra for SD, not HD. (Especially if they would give us the ability to opt-out of receiving SD feeds when HD feeds are available. :D)
