That is what they recommend, but before my last speed increase I had 18mbps, and while it would buffer at the start, it would ramp up to and hold 4k with netflix.

i would put the minimum mark at least at 50Mbs
True but this is about Directv Now. Directed toward those that think streaming is unfeasible. Most people can easily stream if they don't have a data cap.
That I'm really not sure. The way Netflix works it throttles the data stream to work with the customer. I can see something like that working out. Netflix has this streaming thing down to a science.
