A three way partnership between DISH, Amazon and T-Mobile therefore seems to me to be the single most likely deal to emerge in the next few weeks. T-Mobile has emphasized its desire for a rapid build out of its large block of new spectrum, and it could easily include a buildout of DISH’s incentive auction spectrum at the same time. Amazon could use the capacity not only for in-home services such as Echo, but also to support other activities such as drone deliveries, while DISH could provide wireless service built around Sling TV, as well as fixed wireless broadband if desired.

I sure hope T-Mobile doesn't hook up with Dish.
My past experience with them was horrible, the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I wouldn't mind a Dish, Verizon merger, or even a 3 way with Amazon.

IF Charlie sells DISH , then it might work ,but if he wants to stay in control then it won't succeed. He is terrible in negotiations and he has a long history of failed partnerships along the way that ended badly.
He also has a long history of changing the arena that is being played in. 16 tuners, 2TB HD, Sling. SlingTV just to name the more recent ones.

If T-mobile were smart they'd try to buy Dish out. T-Mobile has a great CEO that likes to shake things up and I could see him trying to stir things up in the tv part of it and that would be great since you'd have competing rates from other providers and would help bring more people back that left paid tv. Let's face it , unless something like this happens , tv costs will just continue to rise until enough people drop the service and that will help wake them up to realize they're losing customers because of this reason .

If Charlie, Legere and Bezos could work together that could make for huge game changes across many industries. Problem is the ego of each of them makes working with someone else difficult at best.

Mike misses the point that he has to do what's best for business. His Billions, proves he has done what is best for business. Being an industry leader proves he has done what is best for business.

Dish started as a small, homey company that would listen to their customers

Look, I liked Charlie back in the day when DISH was on the way up like the 90s and early 2000s,but after seeing potential partnerships fail over and over ,because of Charlie and his winning ways, I am not keen on him any longer. He is standing in the way of DISH doing something really good for not only the company ,but the subs who use DISH, because of his ego. He has to run it and it has to be his way or the highway. When you run things like that ,you are left pretty much alone with little to no one to work with and that is DISH today. I would love to see a three way with all three companies, especially since I use all three in my day to day life ,but I say again if history is any indicator or predictor of behavior , he will once again screw the pooch and piss off the potential partners because of his negotiation tactics. Watch me be right on this one.

By far the most innovative company out there. Charlie runs the show because it is effective. Just because his partnerships didn't result in success in the past, doesn't mean they are wrong. If something just ain't right, I strongly support him pulling out.
