When you think of the NFL, what network do you think of?

A Colts avatar?

I thought you were a Redskins fan since the move.

You said on DBSForums that you did not follow the Colts when they moved to Indy.

Personally, I thought you'd choose an avatar of either of Washington's newly-enshrined HOF'ers (Green or Monk.)

I didn't follow the Colts once they moved to Indy. The Colts avatar is a picture of one of my favorite NFL players in the '60s - the great Lenny Moore. He is one of the few athletes in NFL history who was equally dangerous as a receiver and a running back.

In truth, Moore may have been my favorite football player ever (along with Raymond Berry and Johnny U).

CBS

I think I will always associate the NFL with them because of Brent Musberger opening the NFL Today with "You are looking LIVE at Lambeau Field!" That just brought a certain excitement and anticipation to the days game.

Gru up with CBS....Later years went to Fox....Now as far as game action I watch the teams that I have an intrest in seeing that day with Sunday Ticket so it can be open to CBS/FOX

Though with pregame, its CBS I find there pre game to be more informative with less comedy then fox

Ah, yes. The man with the magnificent spats and long TD runs.

BTW, I'll take a wild guess and ask- are you old enough to remember the Colts/Giants 'Greatest Game?'

1. CBS 2. The Bills (had season tickets at War Memorial Stadium - Kemp, Lamonica, Cookie Gilchrist, Elbert "Golden Wheels" Dubenion)

No. I was born in 1956. The first NFL seasons I remember was '63 & '64. Certainly, I remember the Bears beating the Giants in the NFL Championship in Wrigley Field, but not much else about the '63 season.

I definitely remember '64, when the Colts powered to a 12-2 record, a Western Division Title, and broke numerous records that year. In one game against the Washington Redskins, Raymond Berry became the all-time leading receiver in NFL history; Lenny Moore set the single-season touchdown record; and the Colts blew out the Redskins. Unitas won his 2nd MVP that year, Moore won Comeback Player of the Year - and it was Don Shula's second season as Colt head coach.

My first thoughts drifted to DirecTV and Sunday Ticket.

As for OTA networks Back to the good old days of AFL Football on NBC.

cbs. even in the old days they had the better pic. they still do.

NBC.

Growing up in Buffalo, almost 90% of Bills game I saw were on NBC (except for when NFC teams visited, monday night games, and occasionalm playoff games)
Agreed. Since the NBC games were always in the clear on satellite, those were the games i watched. Enberg, Criqui, Albert, Joel Meyers, Jim Donovan, Mel Proctor doing those games. Costas was in the studio too back then.
