How ofter does the fta list at Global-CM.net get updated? Just curious if it's like once a month or something?

June 16 was only 4 days ago. If you want daily updates, go to the Lyngsat site.
I update these lists in my spare time, usually about once a month, as a public service. Sometimes more often, on an as needed basis.

And Lyngsat isnt updated daily either :)
I like the list Mike. Its nice and easy to read when I am monkeying around with my C-Band dish :D

You said it :)

Mike, I emailed this to you once. I think it would be GREAT if you would maybe highlight the changes you make in red. Then the next time you updated, make the previous red --> black, and the new changes could be in red.

Should be pretty simple to do.

This way, everyone can see what the newest changes are. I know when I check out your site, which is actually pretty often, I do miss things!

I used to highlight things in red....but you must understand that this almost doubles the time involved in setting up and editing the listings. Keeping this list up to date is a project that is dedicated to helping my customer base, and as a public service to everyone....in the hopes that some of you will appreciate the time and effort involved---and consider buying something from our website. There are only so many hours in the day, and if I have to make a decision on whether to find time to physically check for new channels, or to cut in to that time by playing with manual typesetting....searching for new information wins hands down. I am sorry for that reality, but that is the way things are.

If you need to check whether or not something is new, and cannot take the time to visually compare my current list with the channel list in your receiver, I might suggest looking at Lyngsat. Changes are dated, and while the color code applies to the entire transponder, it is highlighted so that you can look and quickly identify where changes have been made. Thank you for your understanding!
