I've caught a few backhauls of events, but no they are pay tv and scramble their signals. You might get lucky once in a while and find them with encryption turned off but prob for not very long.

Ok Thanks.

I am more interested in the F1 tham the guys who run around in circles and chase thier tails :)

I watch Formula 1, too.
But, only the one race a year is in the USA, so only the one race is likely to have a backhaul uplinked.
well, Canada and Brazil might count...
If you want to catch the other 17 shows, ya'd better subscribe to one of the pizza dish providers, or your local cable company.

and by the way, what ever happened to the international (FIA, XYZ, ABC ? ) road rally they had on Speed two years ago?
none last year, and none this year.

I am a HUGE WRC fan, Speed dropped its coverage of World Rally. Only way to see it here is bittorrent, well if BellExpressVue has Eurosport you might see it there....

(I also have tickets to the F1 USGP. :D )

If it rains one day while I am in Indy I might take a road trip and see Sadoun. :)

WRC ! Yea, that's it.
Thanks for the info.
I sent WRC an email asking where to get it in North America, but they couldn't bother to reply.

I have European friends who say it's on in their countries.. and suggested bittorrent or some such.
I never followed up.
I discontinued BEV a couple of years ago.
Maybe I should look at restoring service...

I've seen some odd races show up as feeds , one was VW Herbie style from Mexico , found it on Hispasat or Pas 3R last year.

Also one race out of Cali with 7 camera shots showed up last summer on AMC 2 , it was OTA on NBC , but I thought it was neat to toggle thru the different camera angles while I was watching.

I stand corrected.

There are F1 backhauls available too.
I know enough to not argue with an old timer on a statement of fact, like this.

Just ran across this info for last weekend's F1 race:
F-1 Malaysian Gran Prix on: I-805C
3--- H, SR 4--- ; VPID 308 ; APIDs 256/257 ;PCR 8--- ; 4:2:0 PAL Video
I edited out some of the details, 'cause even old info shouldn't be publicized.

Sure surprised the heck out of me to find that in the clear.
Double thanks for your comment, Dem0nlord.
