    Peacock TV

The stuff they have, is mostly available elsewhere, and isn't worth much more than "free" in the first place. The ONLY reason I was forced to get it, is because my wife wanted to continue watching "Days of our Lives" soap, which went streaming ONLY to Peacock over 1 year ago.

Do you need special cable in order to ground your equipment?

Because they are few and far between. Way to conflict with your own statements. Most UPSes moved to USB ten years ago. Ethernet is something I've seen in the last five years or so. DB9 is strictly a legacy feature as RS-232 is no longer well-supported (even KVMs are USB now). As someone who...

"Oops! we ran into some problems"

That may have been me working on the no reply issue. I forgot to clear one of the other caches. Need to make sure we got them all. I forget at times we use a total of 3 different CDN's for caching.

"Oops! we ran into some problems"

Yep, longer clocking times for things like that. I also see it.

I deleted my Satelliteguys.us cookie, AND refreshed my Firefox browser on my laptop. I now can reply to things, BUT, I still get a long clocking time when doing so. Much longer than normal that is.

NBA’s new TV Deal looks to go to Streaming

New service at $40 with Fox+Disney+Warner, then +Peacock at $7.99/$13.99 (without commercials). So $47.99 to $53.99, so close to your $50.

    Peacock TV

I have enjoyed some of their ‘original’ content. Mostly British imports.

    Roku decides to ruin pausing

Neither are TCL and HiSense anymore, or at least not only low end. Ratings from CNET, rtings.com, Digital Trends, etc. are quite high. Not quite as good as Sony/LG, but surprisingly close. They don't have to beat Sony/LG, but just be close enough and a lower cost to win a ton of customers...

I had the same problem up until a few minutes ago. I fixed it by deleting the satelliteguys.us cookie, and then relogging back in

NOW IN STOCK: The first ATSC 3.0 converter box at a fair price

Here on this blog we’ve been talking about the next generation of television broadcasting for a decade now. In most of that time, there’s been very little movement. Even recently, it’s seemed like a faraway dream that may never happen. But, here’s the good news– there are a lot of test ATSC 3.0...

    Peacock TV

I get it for free with Comcast internet and its basically worth that - a free throw in - to me. It's crazy we all feel the same way because I think we can also agree Universal Pictures' back catalog is pretty good, there are some decent NBC produced shows, and NBC Sports is legit. So why is...

NBA’s new TV Deal looks to go to Streaming

I really thought, given the landscape right now, they'd get 30% increase TOPS. Good for them, but holy smokes. This was my first thought earlier. And you know NBC isn't joining this JV, given the tepid relationship with Disney. To be honest, I would have had a hard time forking out $40 for...

    Buyout bid for Paramount

This sale is clearly emotionally driven. I mean, totally fine, her family built the company, so it's up to her I guess. However, taking the $5B from Skydance seems like a bad deal all around vs the Apollo offer which was 5x that? I can't imagine I'm happy if I am a minority (outvoted)...
