More info- One of the major sticking points in the dispute was Comcast’s desire to move the RSNs to its Ultimate TV tier. That tier is more expensive and contains more channels. The Bally RSNs were previously on its mid-range Popular TV tier. That tier will also have a lot less subscribers...

Well, maybe it will come next software update. My Hopper Plus is on H374 and the setting for the Signal Protector is not there. Maybe it is on running in the background for the Plus.

The DVR recordings is NOT in the 6.99 plan (it’s also in SD). It’s 7.99 a month or 6.99 month for yearly plan The plan that has DVR is 9.99 month (or 7.99 month for year). This plan also is HD.

I don't worry about channels or picture quality anymore. I have daily anxiety concerning if DISH is going away and no more Hopper 3. Streaming is pretty kool, but no match to the Hopper.

I was a field computer tech for a long time. We used to stand behind people and ask them what issue they were having, and could they duplicate it. They'd do so, and ask us what it seems that the problem is. "Yep, I see that it appears to be an I.O. error" (idiot operator) LOL!
