Ford to drop AM radio in new vehicles

I personally think FCC should force AM broadcasters go to pure digital MA3 mode just like FCC did with analog NTSC TV broadcasters back in 2009 and just get over with! :p:hatsoff

Software for sketching Cable TV diagrams

kicad is a good one. A bit of a learning curve. Cad models are downloadable from Mouser and Newark, although libraries are out there if you search. Drawing simple circuit diagrams is pretty simple. From design to production. And it's free!

Just google it. Basically it contains the same chemical as e-cigarettes. My Lung doctor told me to avoid it also and so many other things, luckily with Celiac ( or unlucky, I really miss Pizza at times) most were already avoided. Better to just make it on the stove, I used Olive Oil, when I...

What do you mean? I have asthma and have no issues with microwaved popcorn. Ha! I liked Jiffy Pop popcorn as well and I'm not joking either. Predated the microwave bag and came out pretty well. Ah, to be young again.

STREAMING SATURDAY: The importance of professional film critics

Friends, I had this space reserved for my review of Rebel Moon Part 2. But, for the life of me, I can’t bring myself to watch it. The reviews have been scathing, although they imply that part 2 is still better than part 1. I’ll say that’s a pretty low bar since part 1 really seemed like a Star...

    On Demand Episode gone

It will probably show back up, maybe taken down for rights issues for a limited time. You can get it via Paramount+, they have a free trial, or if you pay for Showtime via Dish, you would have access.

I'm ready to Cancel Dish because of those Burger King Commercials.

When I switch between streaming & DiSH on my Sony smart TV, there's a huge volume difference. As to same-system volume-leveling & the law, I recall several years ago stations & providers who were called out on it gave the "excuse" that the commercials aren't actually louder, at least per the...

    On Demand Episode gone

The other night I wanted to watch an episode that was only a few days old that I recorded. However I started to watch it and it was all about the weather that was going on in the area. So, I deleted that recorded episode and decided to watch it from "On Demand". So, I did a search of Blue...

    Buyout bid for Paramount

When I was in college we had a T1 or equivalent speeds in the dorms. It was glorious using Kazaa and Napster in early 2000-2002.

Actually, providers like Dish get advertising time also, so they call sell ads for airing on their service. Usually 1 minute per hour, so two 30 second spots.

The station owners are the ones putting in ads, if you're seeing burger King the most, guess what? That's because burger King is paying their bills lol. As far as volume differences that's what happens when switching between dolby digital and stereo formats. Neither problem is dish related.

The is a volume leveling setting on the Hopper. Most likely it won't work but try it. Another provider will have less volume selling Whoppers.

Unless you had 2 modems tied together somehow..you didn't get that speed in 1996 In reality you couldn't do anything with those speeds if you really had them...wasn't much of a web in 1996 https://www.pingdom.com/blog/the-web-in-1996-1997/
