ADTH ATSC 3.0 NextGen TV Box with DVR Review

I recently tried one of these ADTH boxes and was very unimpressed. The software is very buggy, the box locks up,freezes and restarts several times per day.I ended up sending it back.I wouldn't recommend this box to anyone.

Episode 8 was broadcast yesterday. Now there is only the season (and series) finale left which is a double-episode. Will they spread it out over two weeks or both next Thursday?

OK; I thought I watched enough Mickey Mouse Club episodes to understand this, but alas I do not. What "bursting out" did she do? Can you find a video because I sure can't.

EchoStar/Dish raises doubts about 'ability to continue as a going concern'

Well, the difference there was the private equity firm smothered the company in debt to buy Toys R Us. Ergen smothered Dish with debt to try and save it.

    DVB-S2X / DVB-S2 Minimum C/N Lock Calculator

When does that go into effect? I'm still picking up the feeds on 99W C-band with no problem. I'm getting 13.42 dB C/N on my osmio on a 12 footer (which needs to be repeaked when I stop being lazy).

    Auto Racing 2024

It has been sprinkling all week in Speedway, Indiana. So limited running at times. Kyle Larson is busy trying to prove he is a great race car driver that chooses to waste his talents in NASCAR. Larson has put up pretty good speeds. Looking better than Johnson. Penske cars are rising towards...

EchoStar/Dish raises doubts about 'ability to continue as a going concern'

I'm not saying it's a viable business long term, but I think it has a few more years left in it. I'm 50/50 on if they're still around at the end of the decade...but I'm confident they'll be around the next 2-3 years.

EchoStar/Dish raises doubts about 'ability to continue as a going concern'

They does not guarantee they will be saved. Toys r Us still had cashflow, look what happened to them (which would have happened anyways after a period of time).

EchoStar/Dish raises doubts about 'ability to continue as a going concern'

If there's cashflow, someone will step in. Maybe Eddie Lampert is looking for another business to finish running into the ground?

    How things have changed

Those two things have nothing to do with each other though. Just because the sats are up there and working doesn't mean the folks on the ground have the money to operate. A previous employer took out a 3 year lease on an office. They went out of business in one year. Just because they had a 3...

    Young Sheldon

I liked both episodes. We were having bad weather in South east Texas during the show and of course the weather man cut into programming every 15 minutes so I missed the ending of the show. I had to rewatch on Paramount + to catch what I missed. It explains why older Sheldon has been narrating...

EchoStar/Dish raises doubts about 'ability to continue as a going concern'

But it is not a viable business with just TV, Dish and Sling still lost 1.2 Million subs last year, about 348,000, yes it is still profitable, but that is shrinking, which is the main reasons why they are having so many issues, the profits from TV are no longer enough to support all of the...

EchoStar/Dish raises doubts about 'ability to continue as a going concern'

Well, there wasn't much to restart! Dish is still viable, I'm confident it'll keep operating under different ownership or a restructuring for a few more years.

    How things have changed

Will see if DISH satellite TV service will still be around in 2030. I really doubt it. Echostar might still be in business but I see DISH selling out or merging or being bought out for the parts. They are simply losing to many subs to keep it profitable long term.

    New Install, new equipment?

Echostar might be in business, but DISH satellite TV service won't. I don't see this lasting till 2030.

Program records...then says will delete in 2 days????

Weird So today’s episodes recorded and now it doesn’t say deleting. The news showed that it would be deleted until today’s show completed. Same with Little House. 2 of yesterdays 4 episodes said deleting in 2 days but now it doesn’t.

Better get Netflix for NFL on Xmas

By the next big rights deal (expires in 2033), doubtful the Networks would be able to afford the NFL ( and are still there), which explains why the NFL really wanted to get in bed with Netflix.
