John, if you are not currently under contract then you can call to see if they will offer you programming and equipment discounts if you agree to sign a new 2 or 3 year commitment. Sometimes they may also give you extra perks like 3 to 6 months of a specialty or premium service. It never hurts...

I believe you are misreading your bill.
The reduced price for owned equipment is not time related, it is a flat price just like the leased price.
$5 for an owned Joey and $10 for an owner H3, no time limit.
The 24 months is the time frame of your price freeze on programming.
I have one here in the parts bin. A patch antenna you set on the window sill to receive sxm. It's similar to a gps patch with internal lna and filtering. Not sure what voltage is needed from the radio antenna port to power it. Although gewgel says 4-7 vdc for compatible antennas with internal lna's.
Your asking how I made out from what?
I saw you posted a picture of your dish and LNB. Thanks
Did you ever post a pic of the switch's, splitters, or inserters the installer set up?
And the bill tells you what promo's expire when there's no need to write things down on a calendar :biggrin except the day you first signed up with em :biggrin. protection plan it's up to you to keep it or not but it still counts the months down you can keep it or get rid of it
