STREAMING SATURDAY: Netflix’s Atlas is proof that we’ll never be satisfied

After a week of seeing it at the top of my Netflix home screen, I decided to dig into Atlas. On the face of it, it seemed like a really well-made sci-fi action film. But, having been burned by other direct-to-Netflix films, I went in with more than a little hesitation. Maybe I shouldn’t have...

    Auto Racing 2024

Le Mans, so far, so good. Clean racing start, some early sprinkles to the north that dropped a few drops on the track. Might be more later. Nolan Siegel's car in 26th, he has yet to drive. Ganassi is well back at the moment, but it is early, very early.

    Comcast fees for Frisco area

We watch primarily local TV all day long during the week . I use cable news station for when I want to hear political news. But the other cable channels other than HGTV and Magnolia for my wife I can live with out. I don't watch sports either, because I find them beyond boring. So I use...

    Retro Movie Review: Pixels

With all of the interest lately in retro gaming, I thought it was time to revisit the 2015 film Pixels. I did my best to forget any feelings I had for the film when it first came out, and I hoped to take a look at it from the point of view of a retro gamer. Pixels was loosely based on a 2010...

Need help to identify unknown interference

As noted by others, there was a change in FEC setup on 4180 MHz two or three days ago. If you have not done so, re-scan this Weigel transponder. I find that it is now considerably stronger in quality reading, and all channels have returned.

    Something To Chew On

It's not going to work. Here's what I have tried on the new pole setting with a d500. I have a dpp single LNB with just one port for 110 sat. It is coax (pig-tailed) to another dpp single LNB with two ports for 119 sat. The pig-tail coax is connected to the right port on the LNB. From the...

Bally Sports RSNs Are Reportedly Preparing For Bankruptcy

It is almost over, even if they are able to survive until the end of the MLB Season, they still do not have contracts with NBA/NHL Teams for the upcoming season. Diamond will be the first to fall, other RSNs will soon follow, since the three main providers (DirecTV, Comcast, Charter with a...

Bally Sports RSNs Are Reportedly Preparing For Bankruptcy

Yeah, that's not going to float. Once you're in bankruptcy court confidentiality agreements go out the window. As the saying goes, all will be revealed and if DSG refuses to I suspect the leagues will push for, and the judge will likely agree to, the shutting down of DSG and the liquidation of...

Trying to get a straight answer

So the dish goes to the receiver via the in wall coax. Receiver feeds TV2 via in wall coaxh You don't say how TV1 is fed. I don't believe Hopper has a Coax output (to feed ANY TV). So you'd need to convert (either composite, component, or HDMI) to Coax (RF modulator). Then you'd either need...
