    Correct ... However, in the article the Robot Ump doesn't call it that way, it sounds like it only sees one plane at 8 1/2 inches depth, half way to the back of the plate ... Where as a Real Ump would call it a strike anywhere in the plate .... depth wise .

    I found it interesting that the Robot Ump, appears to register the ball over the Middle of the plate, depth wise, which means the strike zone is Not the same ... the width of the plate, plus the depth is your current plate ... the Ump doesn't see that .... bet theres gonna be PLENTY of...

    Sometimes they even toss the ball to another ref at a hash mark to place, and Then use the chains ... WHAT are they thinking ??? Of course theres a lot of those type of things that refs amy do that make you scratch your head.

    The Ball already has a Chip in them, however, its not the one that would work with the chain gang. Did you happen to see the video above ... Answer me, WHY does the Official that spots the ball for the chains, HOLD the ball like its going to go somewhere ??? :eek:

    I too find it ridiculous that to follow ones team you know have to have 4 or more services. All teams I follow I have to get via Sunday Ticket, other than the Lions. They would be on my OTA, which is always a fight with Cleveland (Ugh) ... particularly when the Broadcast rules change this...
