It should work if the remote is set to your TV. I literally just did it with my lg last night. I was able to use the arrows and the select buttons. It should work on all lg tvs.

TNAP images have the Hauppauge drivers pre installed. Plug in the device then full reboot and you should see the little lights on the Hauppauge light up showing it is powered. Go to the tuner menu and it should be listed as tuner C in the Mio4k+ if it is the only usb device connected.

Make sure you have this driver installed. Or whichever version is compatible with the version of TNAP you are now using. I have this driver in TNAP 4.2, but I stopped using the MIO for OTA, so no longer have the 955Q hooked up, so I can't check in TNAP 6: Best OTA Solution using Edision OS Mio+
