Are you able to pair your hearing aids with your Bluetooth? My Father-in-Law got that option a few years back and he liked it (as did my Mother-in-Law) because he could watch videos on his tablet without disturbing her.

The SDS150 does have GPS built in- it doesn't require the Bluetooth for GPS location. I agree not having it directly connect to headphones was stupid though.

Seriously there is not much easier than upgrading a Joey or installing a Hopper Plus. But if someone feels they cannot handle it they should ask for a Dish installer

I never understood why the GPS wasn't built in, its such a small chip now and every cell phone has one built in. They are coming out with a SDS150 which I believe still does not have the GPS built in. But it does have Bluetooth... sort of... The Bluetooth can only connect to its software you...

I have fiber and Tel line plugs into the ONT. I do not because of my hearing aids. My wife does use the landline number as well as her cell phone. I use my iphone, I use it as Bluetooth connection for phone calls and social media

I got a call this morning saying that the GPS kit wasn't available. So I'll be looking for alternatives. The link you provided is also unavailable on Amazon.

Congrats and enjoy! I honestly don't know what everything in the GPS kit is supposed to do. Why is there what looks like a phone cable and some RS232 cables. The GPS puck and proprietary USB cable is all you need if you power it via a USB port.
