I have had my Hopper plugged into a power strip that is plugged into a power conditioner and have never had those issues.

I watch it as well. But I watch it on the NASA app via my Apple TV and it is, indeed, HD... ;)

A few days ago the Wally receivers had a software update to W573.. So currently, many new Wallys will NOT activate, or get past "test installation" and just die there. Even with a direct connection, good LOS, signal over 45%, both sats found, etc... but then BOOM. Complete signal loss...

Same. But I've noticed that if my H3 is plugged in thru a power strip or 'surge protector' that it occasionally went batshit crazy. Recordings just missing, wireless Joey showing no Hopper, a hard drive error.. but as soon as I plugged it into the outlet directly.. all of my issues went away...
