    My ONN Roku TV was connected to the Internet for setup and then disconnected since I'm using it with a Firestick. If I hear about an update, I connect temporarily.

    They're referring to the Roku model TVs from TCL and others, some of which won't act as a TV without going through the online setup process. Even if all you want to do is watch regular TV via antenna, cable or sat or use another device like a Bluray player or game console.

    i get what your saying. but what if someone just wants to use it with an antenna 🤔. i don't see a need for it to go through the steps of setting itself up if someone just wants to use it via OTA🤔
