The HD guy was just here...I have been w/ DishNetwork for almost 20 years and I just upgraded with them again..receiving a brand new HD receiver and dish and cables etc.... I hadn't done my research though....I did this so I could watch the Super bowl in HD...well....my locals in HD are not...

I need a receiver in my bedroom and I have been watching with interest the thread on the 510. I would like to avoid PVR fees.... I am also looking to add the 61.5 dish for one television only. Legacy Any vendors here sell good stuff? Or should I test Ebay? Thanks

1 - My close captioning wont go off when watching HD...but SD it isn't there. I have never turned it on so I don't know why it is there. 2- I have changed the remote address so not to conflict with my PVR...but now I have to change it in info screen 2-3 times per day to get it to work...

Well I am very happy with my two receiver set up on my RPTV....the 811 is performing quite well in Hd and the 508 is still great in SD......one small problem. When I go into picture and picture mode....811 on one side...508 on the other.....the remote for the 508 also changes the darn channel...

Well, my friendly UPS driver just brought my new Legacy Quad....should be an easy install right? Is there just a set screw that holds the twin on? I will make a new run from an empty connection straight to my 811 and then have my 508 and 811 set up on same TV... should be a no-brainer...

For the time being, while I wait out the CBSHD and 61.5 dish, can I just split the signal coming into my house and run one cable to 811 and one cable to my DVR/PVR? I will only use one receiver at a time, so I should be able to with a quality splitter correct? Thanks in advance.

I want CBSHD.....I need 61.5 of course. I have now Dish 500 with Legacy Twin Should I : Get Quad for Dish 500 so I can add 2 receivers also then buy another Dish and use my legacy twin on it to send the cable for 61.5 What switch will I need? Should I wait til Superdish is ironed...
