Well Saturday I am finally calling d* to upgrade to HD. I’m hoping I can get the hd/dvr for $99 and a free hd receiver. I don’t need any free prem channels or any other discounts. What do you think would be the best approach to try to achieve this? I am a 9yr customer with no commitment.

The past week or two I have noticed in the morning when I go to turn on my TV and dvr that the little yellow light on the dvr is on before I turn anything on. When I turn on the dvr it goes off. What causes this to happing? I don’t know the model but its 2 to 2 ½ years old.

Well I finally put up my pole for the slimline install soon to be. All I have left to do is run the coax. Its a 1 7/8od sch 40 pipe with a 1 7/8id with a 2”od sleeve slipped on and welded. The pole sits in a 12” dia hole 44” deep, which took 6 ½ 80lb bags of cement. I think that should hold here...
