hmm, i dont trust the map, many people around here have sprint with no problem, yet it shows no coverage in the area i know people use it. i guess they are just saying they cant guarantee it will work. Thanks for the review Scott.

weird, when i turn off genie recommends, then exit, i go back in, i get the check back in an hour message in the main part of the screen,but on theleft side i still have choices to select

go to "TV shows", then bottom left hand side is "genie settings", select that and then select "turn Genie Recommends on" : menu,search and browse,Tv shows,Genie settings,turn genie recommendson, ok

i just had install last saturday, i noticed i had the same 1hr message if i had "genie recommends" turned off, turned it on, and the 1 hr wait message was gone not long after. not sure if they tie in, but that's my story.

that sounds crazy, you are sure you called the actual Directv # and not some middle man? (not that middle men are bad,just that maybe you got a crappy installer with a disgruntled employee) My call last month was very well handled by "otto" he was very nice and seemed to know the Directv system...

ok, so installer arrived yesterday at 12:30pm, told him what i was hoping for and he did exactly that. He used everthing but the dish/lnb from my Dish network system, he used the old mount ,pole,and 2 side supports, he used all the DISH cable, he was done outside in 20 mins, and spent 25-30...
