Don't you love people who talk through their a$$

I know what you mean and many of these women feel ashamed when they meet other women and telling them what your husband is doing, i guess they think we are boys with toys and not grown up, and what is grown up actually? are we grown up when a woman tells us we are? it seems so in many cases...

Yes we are talking less than a inch here :-) i can't install a longer LNB than what i have, this is the only LNB type i can use if i want to move the dish, thank god Inverto make short neck LNBs. Yes i did alot of calculation with sinus and cossinus, what you do is that you calculate how far up...

Here is my current setup, Channel Master 1.2M with actuator covering about 53 Degrees East to 20 West, the dish is exactly calculated in current position to pass the signal onto the entire surface. I've also modified the Inverto Black Ultra LNB to flange so i can use the Channel Master feedhorn...

    Actuator Sensor Types

Hall got more pulses per move than Reed. It's not good trying to find the +5V line, you could fry the sensor.

    Problem with GBOX and actuator

I guess there is no market for these things anymore except for a few. I have noticed huge difference between positioners in accuracy, one positioner i have always gets back with a few pulses wrong from either directon, another one i have is dead spot. The old days are dead sadly enough, it was...

    SuperPowerJack actuators and clones?

The one on the right is the higher quality model as you can see it has a real limit switcher and metal backplate. The cheaper one have cheap plastic limits with a plastic backplate and a real cheap plastic cable connector, also the cable insert on the cheap one does not have a proper cable...

    Reed Sensor

@tvropro Look into my thread http://www.satelliteguys.us/c-band-satellite-discussion/236217-superpowerjack-actuators-clones.html I am a bit confused, either there are several manufacturers of this SuperPowerJack or the manufacturer has lowered the quality of the units, just look at the huge...

    SuperPowerJack actuators and clones?

Can any one answer me what manufacturer makes best SuperPowerJacks? When checking Alibaba there are dozens of manufacturers of this actuator, are they all clones? That's stupid, Venture makes the highest and strictest quality actuators in the world together with Thomson and Fasco and some other manufacturers. If you look into one of the Moteck or whatever they are called from China made actuators for large dishes you can see bearings are made from...

Dual axis navigator mount and actuators

Can't do, you need a professional antenna controller used in commercial systems to control two motors these days, in the old days you could use the Monterey 140 for this, if you can get a cheap Mont140 that would be ideal. Otherwise a antenna controller range in price between $2000-3000

    Crank Actuator

I got a solution for you, i have a SuperPowerjack that i put into pieces, rubbish actuators by the way, if you remove the crank shaft from the motor assembly you can use it as a old school manual crankshaft because you have a rod in the end you can put a handle on to turn the crank.

Manufacturers of petalized 1.8m(6 foot) dishes?

Well your dish is made by Jonsa and got the same reference design as the Fortec star and made by dozen other clone manufacturers in China, i would not trust that dish more than any other Chinese made dish. Only quality made performing dish ever made petalized was made by Alcoa in the USA and...

You seem touchy because you sell these products, i've been into sat for 25 years and know what's quality or not. Have you ever owned a quality actuator like Thomson Saginaw or Linak or from any other quality manufacturer to even justify your comment? Doesn't matter what you say, these so...
