    Programming remote for 622

If this has already been addressed elsewhere, apologies. But I'm trying to program my 622 remote to control a Yamaha YSP 800 soundbar. I've used codes 663, 730, 731, 732, 733, 745 and 747 to no avail. And, yes, i did precede those codes with a "2." Hep!

FIRST LOOK: Dish 500+ Dish 1000+ and the Dish 1000.2!

Time to jump in? Since Voom put a bullet in it's own head, i've been without HD (no OTA in my area). I'm considering going with Dish and the new 622 box, maybe two, but what's all this talk about new dishes coming out this month? If I order now will I be sorry a couple days later? What are...

Ordered Voom -- Question Combining Signals for Sat, Basic Cable, and OTA

Is that true? My own experience says this is correct, but when i called my install company they said you could route the basic cable into the voom box. of course, i tried that and it didn't work, so i'm inclined to think it can't be done, but i'd like to be sure. here's my set-up: the OTA is...

    Bay Area VOOMers?

Voom in the east bay Just got Voom installed. The satellite is very low on the horizon so it took some hunting to find a line of sight between the neighbor's trees. The OTA is an ugly cross between a sea gull and the terminator, and worse yet the only signals available are 2 minor stations...
