I just got two 922s. After the software loaded, I had the CURRENT logos for Euronews, NHL Network, and NDTV 24X7. After the updates during the night, I now have the OLD logo for Euronews, NHL Network, and no logo at all for NDTV 24X7. What's the problem here? :mad:

Anyone notice when watching the English feed of France 24 that the graphics and logo on the side of the picture is chopped off. You can't entirely read all the captions on the channel when you have it on, especially on an HD tv (I know it is an SD feed). Even the France 24 logo in the lower...

Dish has had this problem on other channels in the past. Last year the NHL Network had that problem, but with a few complaints from us they got it straightened out.

I managed to get it on as long as I added an International ala carte channel. I add TV5 Monde for $9.99. That enabled me to get the news package. I had to do it on an online chat. The "do it yourself" system online wouldn't allow it.

I know if you don't live in the Florida suncoast area that this doesn't affect you. I was told by someone who works at WWSB, ABC 7 in Sarasota that the channel will be on Dish by the end of this month (March) in SD. It will be on 61.5 and at 110. The source said that the channel will be in HD...

Are you sure about that? Have you looked at Directv's NHL CI schedule recently? It looks like most of their games (including most Canadian ones besides Toronto) are in HD.

I have the same problem and it is annoying and makes no sense. Since I don't do PPV (I can go to RedBox instead for a lot less money) I simply lock out all the PPV channels on an individual basis. However, it is a problem for those who do PPV and Dish needs to fix it! !protest

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Cox Sports Network (Ch. 421) on a conus beam? If so, why do they not add it to the Multi-Sports Pack? I don't understand. Can someone explain why and is there any hope that one day it will be added to the sports pack? :confused:

Look pretty good. It looks like Locals On The 8's running constantly. They need to get it everywhere. In Canada on Bell TV you have the choice of the national temperatures showing up on the regular Weather Network or having an overlap of your local area on there according to what Postal Code...

What about this weekend with Hockey Day In America? NBC has three regional games at 12 p.m. (EST). Your local NBC affiliate will only carry one game. Will the other two games be available in NHLCI that are not shown locally?

I notice that certain areas of the country have Weather Channel's Weatherscan on their Dish Service, such as Oklahoma City. Does Dish intend to put this on spot beams for all markets in the country? It'd be nice, especially for those who can't pick up subchannels on their receivers.

How about CTV News Channel or CBC News Network ala carte? What's wrong with having them available down here? We get zillions of middle east channels...why not a couple of news channels from Canada?

Forget it guys. I tried to get the package. They won't let you have it as an ala carte package for $5.00. You have to subscribe to one of the higher priced Hindi packages to get it, minimum being $19.95. So you will have to pay (in theory) $24.95 to get the 3-channel English News Package...

I guess we now know why they were offering upgrades on the 922. It is not available off of Dish's website. Will it be available again in the future or will it be gone forever?

Looking at Directv's website I was amazed at how many games they are now showing in HD in the NHL Center Ice package. Dish only has the games that are on the RSNs that they carry (and not even all of them). Directv has way more, including games not on the RSNs as well as Canadian feeds...
