I meant the colors are muted until I load my HDR setting.

It is muted. I have memory positions setup on my projector and this one looks better when adjusted for HDR.

For some reason I’ve had issues setting timers on 4K events. I’ve found that if I highlight the event in the guide and then hit the shortcut button(X) it sets the timer. Sent from my iPhone using SatelliteGuys

Interesting. I haven’t had any issues on 540-01 or any of the on demand titles.

I’m guessing Dish didn’t set a flag correctly. I know I’m getting the error message about my set not being capable of HDR and it isn’t. Personally I wish they would just display a message that non HDR sets may not display a correct image and let it through. I can set my projector to display...

I realize that, but I’m still getting the error message if I try to tune to it via the guide. I assume others with non HDR sets will see the same message and give up.

Btw. I have a 4K projector, but not HDR capable. For those without an HDR capable set that want to watch the basketball on 540-03. If you try to tune to the channel a message pops up that you don’t have a compatible set and it won’t tune to the channel. You can hit the record shortcut...

Big East live now.

Big East tourney this week.

I’m sitting about ten feet from my screen and 4K makes a big difference.

I don’t like it, and I’m watching it on a 126 inch screen.

I’ve recorded the same the same game in 4K and HD. I see a huge difference on my projector.

Today I was able to download and watch a 4K movie. Watched it while it was streaming and after about three minutes I paused it and it had buffered 45 minutes. All is well today.

It does have the option to watch later, if you can get it started downloading. Yesterday I was able to download and watch a 4K movie as it was streaming. Today I also got the message about insufficient bandwidth on the receiver. My internet speed is fine, so I’m guessing it’s an issue...

No idea. I downloaded a 4K movie earlier today.

USC vs Oregon State tonight on 540-01 and tomorrow 2018 MTV awards ceremony on 540-03.

Noticed something today. Although my 4K Joey can’t see channel 540-02, it can see the programs I recorded and plays them back in HDR! It also sees and plays the 4K content on VOD.
