An open letter to ESPN/ABC Sports President George Bodenheimer

I guess I have a different view of ESPN. I think they are a very good network. There are some legitimate criticisms, but on balance they cover sports very well. Consider the alternative. Broadcast networks just use sports as a way to promote their silly sitcoms. ESPN gives far more extensive...

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

He would have caught hell for staying in Cleveland. Staying was just what you people wanted, but LeBron doesn't owe a thing to the city of Cleveland. As far as legacy goes the worst thing for the LeBron legacy is to play 15-20 years and NEVER win a championship. I've never heard of anyone...

    This is too funny.

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

That's generous to call Canada half of the North American market when the entire country is only about the size of California.

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

OK I'm tired of all the LeBron criticism I'm hearing. What was the guy supposed to do? He was going to get ripped no matter what he did. 1. LeBron stays in Cleveland. Everyone says he's greedy and just went for the most money, and he'll never win a championship there. 2. LeBron signs with...

Well that certainly shows where hockey stands in this country.

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

They all resign technically. Mike Brown resigned. That general that Obama fired resigned. It's not really a resignation when your boss types out the letter and orders you to sign it. And never believe anyone when they say they are quitting just so they can spend more time with their familiy.

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

Another thing to consider is this. Florida has no state income tax while Ohio does so LeBron could wind up with more money in Miami even without a max contract. Higher taxes never produce anything good no matter what politicians would have you believe.

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

Not even Dan Gilbert believes that or else Danny Ferry would still be GM.

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

I'm sure he'll regret it when it's 80 degrees on South Beach in January and girls are walking around topless while it's 10 degrees with lake effect snow in Cleveland. :D

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

Just because a team spends a lot of money doesn't mean they do it wisely. Isiah Thomas proved that. It was obvious what the Cavs needed. They needed another star on that team. Instead they get Mo Williams and try to pass him off as Ray Allen, and they sign Shaq and pretend he's the Shaq of 10...

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

So did LeBron. Kobe trashed Phil that whole year he was gone. Real mature. And I recall Kobe threatening to play for the Clippers if he didn't get his way. How stupid was that? That was like threatening to play in the D-League just out of spite. Yeah but Cleveland had a revolving door of...

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

I seem to remember a lot of hate directed at Kobe a few years back when he ran off Shaq and Phil Jackson. Winning has a way of curing those things. Don't act like Kobe isn't all about his brand too. I mean all those staged photo ops with his kids when he come off the court?

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

Dan Gilbert's mad because the value of his franchise just went down like BP stock.

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

You know when LeBron returns there for the first time that arena is going to be like the Dawg Pound.

That'd be a nice pickup. I know the Bobcats are trying to be some sort of UNC alumni team, but if I were Felton I'd be sick and tired of playing for sorry teams. Tell Jordan and Larry Brown you'll see them in Chapel Hill in the offseason, but it's time to win a championship.

    BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

The Cavs would have been a .500 team without LeBron and that's what they'll be now.

Well he won't get paid jack considering the Heat are tapped out, but he could be good. If the Heat get Felton at PG then look out. I imagine he could have some sleepless nights with LeBron pitching Miami and Jordan begging him to stay in Charlotte.

The Heat drafted Jarvis Varnardo from Mississippi St this year. He's the all time leader in blocked shots in NCAA history. Can't shoot for s***, but he could be a nice specialty player.

Sucker! I'll lol at that too. I always disliked Beasley. Now he goes to purgatory and for nothing more than a 2nd round pick. To think he was once the 2nd overall pick.

I don't know if Miami is championship caliber yet...unless the league goes to 3 on 3. But the real edge that they have is that their 3 stars are all in their 20's. Most of the top players elsewhere (Kobe, Nash, Duncan, everyone for the Celtics except Rondo) are in their 30's. That means those...

Salsa you must be loving life. I'll say this now I'll give the Heat crap every time I see so much as one empty seat from now on. ;) You guys better support them. Am I the only one LMAO at Cleveland right now? Hmmm South Beach or stay in the Rust Belt? Tough choice. Does Cleveland take down...

Yeah. I don't see the whole Lebron, D-Wade, Bosh thing happening. You'd have 2 guys who average 28 PPG playing together. That won't work. You only get to average 28 PPG by taking a ton of shots. Put these guys together and someone is going to be left scoring only 12-13 PPG. Only the Celtics have...
