It is not your ideal way to go, but if you upgrade your 625 to a 722, a second phone line is not needed. The DishCOMM is a wireless adapter of sorts. It is intigrated into all of the VIP HD receivers. You only need one VIP receiver hooked up to a phone line or ethernet cable.

As for your question, yes it could be the box. It could be an issue with the audio ouput for the backfeed TVs, but i would first check and replace the splitter.

No...i would bet that it is the splitter itself going bad. It has been known to cause distortion in video and audio. That would be an easy 2 or 3 dollar fix that you may be able to do yourself, if you know where the splitter is.

My guess would probably be that it is just an issue with the box itself. After a while they do go bad. Do you have a lot of stuff stored on the DVR? If it has been installed for 2 years, its not the setup. Is the receiver in an entertainment center, or out in the open?

Another question....do any of the TVs show the same thing on wo tvs. Is one of them a mirror image of another on?

RE: Signal Instead of going onto the check switch page, go to the syste info screen. Wait for it to do its process and then check details. If the sat check is red or yellow, it will tell you of potential problems with the LNBF or line of site. If it is green, you can scroll down to the bottom...

RE: Solution I have a solution for ya. Go and buy an RF Modulator. You can connect the RCA, red-yellow-white, cable into it, and then you can run a coax cable from the modulator into your TV. Or, if your TV has the RCA jacks, you can go straight from the receiver into the TV with those...BUT BE...

Missing Locals I manage a Dish RSP in Temple, TX. We are in the Waco DMAs, and we only received 1 local channel from it. Dish cannot give a defintive answer on when the rest of them will come up.
